The arrangement

A number of the outbound links on this site are affiliate links. Subscribe to a provider after following one and that provider may pay us a share of what you spend. Links that can earn a commission are marked as sponsored in the page code.

You are not charged more

Commission is paid out of the provider's margin, not added to your bill. The price is identical whether you arrive through this site or type the address in yourself. There is no surcharge for using our links and no discount withheld from anyone who does not.

How the order is set

The table is scored on published figures: each service's channel and on-demand counts, its price per month at several plan lengths, and whether its trial asks for a card. The weights are printed on the scorecard, so anyone can redo the sum. Every service in the table carries a real con next to its strengths, the one ranked first included.

What the commission pays for

Running the site: hosting, keeping the price tables in step with each plan page, and the time spent writing setup guides from the app and device makers' own instructions.
